Crystal Aluminium Door Handle

Faceted crystal knobs on extruded aluminium stems, for glass doors up to 12 mm.

CRYSTAL ALUMINIUM DOOR HANDLE

Crystal knobs on extruded aluminium stems

Crystal is the glazed-door family of the handle catalogue. Each unit is a faceted crystal knob carried on an aluminium stem, so a glass leaf gains a solid grip that still reads light against the pane. Two catalogue models cover the family: JBM-8097 in a square profile and JBM-130A in a round profile. The stem is extruded aluminium and the knob is crystal, and the two parts are assembled as one unit before it is packed.

Because the stem is aluminium, the handle is finished on the same lines as the rest of the aluminium range. The knob is left clear, which is what gives the family its name and its place on interior glass doors.

02Two stem profilesJBM-8097 runs a square profile and JBM-130A a round profile, which covers squared and rounded door faces from one family.
03Specified to 12 mm glassBoth models are written into the catalogue for glass doors up to 12 mm, so the glass build-up and the fixing plan together.

Models and fit-up

The family is specified by catalogue model number. JBM-8097 runs a square profile stem, which sits flat against a squared-up door face. JBM-130A runs a round profile stem, which suits a drilled or rounded face and a softer line beside the pane. Both models are specified for glass doors up to 12 mm and fix with an M8 connection, so the hole preparation and the back plate follow the model you pick.

Model choice is normally driven by the door face and the glass build-up rather than by the size of the opening. Where a project mixes door types, the model number is carried through the schedule so the fit-up stays consistent from the first leaf to the last.

Where crystal handles are used

Crystal knob handles are written into the catalogue for glazed interior doors, where a full aluminium pull would look heavy on the pane. The clear knob keeps the sight-line through the door open and the grip small, and the aluminium stem carries the fixing load into the door face. The same unit suits single glass doors and paired leaves, and the two profiles let a project use one family across different door constructions.

Because the hardware is stocked as a catalogue item, it is ordered alongside the door and window profiles and shipped in the same consignment, which keeps the fixing schedule and the material list on one document.

Catalogue, supply and packing

Crystal handles are part of the handle and decorative lattice catalogue. Locks, hinges and door closers are specified separately per project, so the glass door hardware schedule stays split between the pull, which is on this page, and the closing hardware, which is quoted on its own. Every order is quoted by model number and quantity, and each unit is bagged with its fixings.

Adam Alux extrudes its aluminium in-house from 6063-T5 primary aluminium and supplies the range under OEM and ODM terms, with private-label packing available for export orders. Send the door construction, the glass thickness and the model numbers you want, and the quotation comes back with quantities and packing details.
