Aluminium Profiles

Aluminium Profiles for Windows, Doors and Custom Sections

Adam Alux Systems extrudes aluminium profiles in house from 6063-T5 primary aluminium, and has kept the lines running since 1997 across three production bases in China. The window and door catalogue adds up to 35 series, 28 door and 7 window, and each one is an extruded section the plant builds every week. That range is the shortest proof of what the extrusion and finishing lines can hold. Profile supply runs to fabricators, and a section that is not in the catalogue is quoted against the drawing.

Extrusion in house, from billet to finished profile

Every profile under an Adam Alux series starts as 6063-T5 primary aluminium and is extruded on the plant's own lines. The grade is chosen for strength, hardness and resistance to cracking, and it is shared across the window and door ranges, so a workshop that builds both handles one alloy. After extrusion the profiles move through finishing, where anodised, thermal transfer and fluorocarbon coats are applied, with RAL matching and two-tone exterior and interior faces available on request. Dimensional checks run against the shop drawings before a batch is packed.

35 window and door series as profile proof

The catalogue carries 35 series, 28 door and 7 window, and each one is a set of extruded sections rather than a name on a list. Wall thickness changes with the work the series does. The 50 casement window is drawn at 1.2 mm, the 95 sliding window at 1.4 mm, and the 118 casement at 2.0 mm to carry its larger lights. Door sections follow the same logic, from the slim 35X16 sliding leaf to the 40 mm heavy frame with its 63, 88 and 100 mm section depths. A fabricator can read the wall thickness of a series from its spec sheet and match it to the module in front of them.

Profile supply to fabricators

Fabricators buy Adam Alux profiles as a supply line, not only as a finished window. The order ships with a dimensional pack on PDF and CAD drawings on request, so the workbench sets its cut list against the same sections the factory extrudes. Batch consistency carries more weight than any single drawing here: profiles from different runs have to stack and join together on the bench, which is why wall thickness and finish are controlled on every batch rather than only the first. Private-label packing and export-standard containers sit on the same supply route.

Custom die and non-catalogue sections

Not every project fits a catalogue section. When a design calls for a shape the range does not carry, Adam Alux quotes a custom die against the drawing: send the section, the load it carries and the quantity, and the die and tooling details are confirmed at quotation. The service covers the design review, the die, the extrusion, the finish and the testing of the first run. Die prices, tooling lead times and tonnage figures sit outside this page and are settled in the quotation for each section.

The four profile lines

Profile supply splits into four lines. Each one answers a different question from the buyer and has its own page with the detail behind it. A workshop building windows and doors starts with the window and door line. A facade contractor goes to the curtain wall line. An OEM making furniture, solar frames or machine parts goes to the industrial line, and a project with a section of its own goes to the custom die line.

FAQ

Frequently asked

What aluminium grade do you extrude?

6063-T5 primary aluminium, extruded on our own lines. It is the grade used across the window and door series, chosen for strength, hardness and resistance to cracking, so a workshop sourcing both windows and doors works with one alloy.

Can you supply profiles to our factory rather than finished windows?

Yes. Profile supply is a separate line from finished units. Fabricators order extruded sections with the dimensional pack on PDF, CAD drawings on request, and export-standard packing for the container.

Can a profile be extruded to our own section?

Yes. The custom die service takes a non-catalogue section from design review through die, extrusion, finish and testing. Send the section, the load and the quantity, and the die and tooling details are confirmed at quotation.

How do you keep batches consistent?

Wall thickness and finish are controlled on every production run, not only the first, so profiles from different batches stack and join together on the fabrication bench. Dimensional checks run against the shop drawings before a batch is packed.

Do you supply facade and industrial profiles as well?

Yes. Besides window and door profiles, the plant extrudes curtain wall sections for facades and industrial profiles for structural and general use, each quoted against the project drawings and the section it has to carry.
