Working With Adam Alux
Aluminium extrusion OEM and private label
OEM work starts with someone else's drawing arriving at our line, and it stands or falls on whether the delivered item looks like it came from their factory. Adam Alux has run aluminium window and door production since 1997 across three bases in China, with 35 series available under OEM and ODM terms.
What an OEM partner needs from a factory
A partner is buying capacity and continuity, and both are measured at the customer's end rather than at the loading bay. That means the section has to stay the same between orders, the packing has to carry the partner's brand without any supplier mark on it, the paperwork has to be usable by the partner's own technical team, and a sample has to arrive before the first container is committed.
The programme is built around those four points. It applies to windows, doors and profile supply, not to one product line inside them.
Terms: your brand on the profile and the pack
Private-label packing is standard, so cartons, labels and the packing list are issued under the partner's brand. Documentation is issued as your-brand project documentation: dimensional packs and hardware layouts that your team can pass to a client without the Adam Alux name in the footer.
35 series are available to choose from, 28 door lines and 7 window lines, extruded in-house from 6063-T5 primary aluminium. Partners usually narrow the list to the lines their market actually buys, then hold that list as their catalogue.
Samples before the first container
A sample profile set and one finished test window or door are available on request, built to the glazing, hardware and colour choices the partner has specified. In practice the partner uses the test unit to settle two questions before volume starts: whether the section is the right one for their market, and whether the finish reads correctly against the samples they show their own customers.
Finishes across the range are anodised, thermal transfer and fluorocarbon, with RAL matching and two-tone faces on request, so a partner colour can be held across a full catalogue line.
Export packing and loading
Orders ship in export-standard containers, with packing agreed at quotation so the carton sizes suit the container and the site unloading method. Units are packed for transport rather than for a showroom, and packs carry the partner's identification rather than ours.
Dimensional pack files are issued in PDF with CAD on request, so the partner's technical team can build installation drawings without redrawing the section.
How to start
Send the series or the section you want to run, the market it is aimed at, the glazing and finish direction, and the brand that has to appear on the pack and the paperwork. If you have your own drawing, send it and it is quoted against the custom die route.
From that point the order is normally set up as a first sample set, then one test unit, then a production programme. Tell us the volume you expect per year and the quotation is structured around it.
FAQ
Frequently asked
Does the packing carry our brand?
Yes. Private-label packing is part of the standard OEM terms, so cartons, labels and packing lists are issued under your brand. The packing schedule is agreed at quotation, together with the carton sizes that suit your container loading and site unloading.
Can we brand the documentation as well?
Yes. Dimensional packs and hardware layouts are issued as your-brand project documentation, in PDF with CAD on request, so your team can pass them to a client without editing the footer first.
How many series can we choose from under the programme?
35 series in total, 28 door lines and 7 window lines, all extruded in-house from 6063-T5 primary aluminium. Most partners narrow that to the lines their market buys, then hold the shorter list as their own catalogue.
Can we run our own section drawing?
Yes. A section of your own is quoted on the custom die route rather than as a variation of a catalogue series. Send the drawing with the alloy, the wall thickness and the finish you need, and it is priced with the rest of the programme.
What comes before the first production container?
A sample profile set and one finished test window or door, built to your glazing, hardware and colour choices. They settle the section choice and the finish against the samples you show your own customers, before volume is committed.
