Sample Profile Sets and Finished Test Units

Before a project commits, the sample programme hands over the material itself. Three formats are available on request: a sample profile set cut from the series being specified, a corner cut for the join, and a finished test unit built on the production line. Both come off the same 6063-T5 stock and the same finishing lines as the order they will check, which is what makes a sample a decision tool rather than a brochure.

Three sample formats

The sample programme runs in three formats. A sample profile set is a set of cut sections from the series you are specifying, in the finish you are considering, so a workshop can check wall thickness, finish and section geometry on the bench before it commits. A corner cut is the lightest format: mitered corner pieces that show the section and the corner work, for a first look at the join before a full set is ordered. A finished test unit is a small working unit built on the production line, glazed and fitted with the hardware the series carries, for checking operation, sealing and finish under real use. The format is chosen with the enquiry, based on what the buyer needs to check.

Matched to the series and the finish

A sample is cut from the same 6063-T5 stock and finished on the same lines as the production run, so what arrives is what the order will ship. The series determines the section geometry and wall thickness, and the finish direction determines the coat: anodised, thermal transfer or fluorocarbon, with RAL matching and two-tone faces on request. Where a project runs one colour across window and door series, the sample set can hold both, so the match is checked on the same bench.

What arrives in the box

A sample set carries the cut sections for the series in the finish chosen, the finish card for the series and the dimensional pack on PDF, so the bench check covers the material and the geometry together. A finished test unit is a complete small sash or door leaf, glazed and fitted with the hardware the series carries, built on the production line and shipped as a working part rather than a display piece. What is in the box is set with the format, and the contents are confirmed with the sample quotation. Where the format includes a corner cut, the corner piece and its seal arrive with the set, so the bench check covers the join as well as the section.

What to send with the request

Four things carry the request: the series, or the opening it has to fill; the panel or track layout; the finish, as a catalogue colour or a RAL number; and the destination market. The dimensional pack for the series ships with the quotation in PDF, with CAD on request, so the sample is read against the same drawings the workshop will cut from. The sample checks the material; the drawings check the geometry, and together they are what the project decision rests on.

Packing and shipping

Samples ship in export-standard packing from the first sample, the same route the plant uses for production containers. Private-label packing is available where the buyer works under its own brand, so the sample set arrives the way the order will. Shipping terms for a sample are confirmed with the enquiry; they are not published on this page. Samples leave by courier on the export route the plant already runs, and the transit time to the destination comes back with the sample quotation.

Sample cost and freight

The cost of the sample, the freight to the destination and any deduction of that cost against a first order are confirmed with the enquiry, on the same channel as the price. The sample terms are not published on this page, and the WhatsApp button opens with the series and the finish already identified, which is all the plant needs to quote the sample set.

Lead time and terms

Sample lead time depends on the format and the finish. The corner cut is the fastest of the three formats to prepare, a profile set follows, and a finished test unit takes the longest, with a RAL-matched finish adding coating time to any format. The confirmed lead time and the terms come back with the quotation for the sample; neither is published on this page. Once the sample checks out, the production quotation carries the same series, the same finish and the dimensional pack.

FAQ

Frequently asked

Can we get a sample of a specific series?

Yes, in either format, matched to the series and the finish you are specifying. The format is chosen with the enquiry: a profile set for a bench check, a finished test unit for an operation and sealing check.

Is a sample the same material as the production order?

Yes. The sample is cut from the same 6063-T5 stock and finished on the same lines as the production run, so what arrives on the bench is what the order will ship.

Can a sample carry a RAL-matched colour?

Yes. RAL matching and two-tone faces are available on request, and a RAL-matched finish is part of the sample lead time, which is confirmed in the enquiry.

How is a sample packed and shipped?

Samples ship in export-standard packing from the first sample, the same route as production containers. Private-label packing is available where the buyer works under its own brand.

Is there a lead time for samples?

The format and the finish set it. A profile set from a running series is prepared faster than a finished test unit, and the confirmed lead time comes back with the quotation; it is not published on this page.

Can we start with a sample instead of a full order?

There is no fixed MOQ to clear first. A profile set or a finished test unit ships before any production decision, and the production quantity is then set against your opening schedule and the container plan when the quotation is issued, so the first order can be the size of one project. Price and MOQ questions get answered on WhatsApp.

Do I have to pay for samples?

Sample cost, freight and any deduction against a first order are confirmed with the enquiry on WhatsApp, the same channel as the price. The terms are not published on this page.

Can the sample be sent under my own brand?

Yes. Private-label packing covers the sample set as well, so the first parcel arrives the way the production container will. The OEM and ODM page carries the programme in full.

Do you do corner cuts?

Yes. The corner cut is the third format of the sample programme: corner pieces showing the section and the corner work, prepared faster than a full profile set. It is the format to choose where the decision is about the join before a full unit is justified, and the lead time is confirmed with the enquiry.
