The wide-frame casement: a broader aluminium surround with five catalogue finishes, including the deep red sandstone.
WIDE-FRAME SERIES CASEMENT DOOR · application scenes
The wide-frame casement
The wide-frame casement is the most substantial leaf in our casement range. Its aluminium surround is drawn broader than the slim and medium-narrow lines, so the door carries more frame around the glass and reads as a solid, weighted panel on the wall. The catalogue pairs it with five finishes, among them a deep red sandstone that gives the series its strongest colour option. Every scene and finish on this page comes from the production catalogue.

Profile and build
The leaf is extruded from 6063-T5 primary aluminium, the alloy used across our window and door lines, valued for strength and for resistance to corrosion and wear. The surface is finished with a heat-transfer print that the catalogue describes as clear-grained, even and smooth under the hand. The glazing is a double-glazed insulating unit, rated in the catalogue for sound and heat. The lever handle and lock set is fitted in a silver finish that stands against the darker frames.
Five finishes, including red sandstone
Five catalogue finishes are standard: jazz black, jazz glazed white, fluorocarbon grey, champagne gold and red sandstone. The set runs from two quiet neutrals through a metallic gold to the deep red sandstone, which the catalogue shows on a full leaf in a living room. The broader frame makes the coloured finishes read as a deliberate feature rather than a trim. RAL equivalents and two-tone combinations are confirmed against physical swatches on request.
Where the series fits
The catalogue shows the wide-frame leaf in bathrooms, living rooms and passage interiors, on openings that want a firmer line than the slim casement. It is a hinged door, so it turns on its hinges rather than running on a track, and the wall beside the opening stays free. The extra frame width gives the door more visual weight, which suits a larger room or a doorway that sits beside full-height joinery.
OEM and project supply
Supply follows the same OEM route as the rest of the door range: private-label packing, project documentation and export-standard containers. A profile set and a finished test door can be reviewed before a project is placed. Send the opening dimensions, the hinge hand, the finish and the destination market, and the quotation returns with the full dimensional pack.

FAQ
Asked on every Wide series project
What is the wide-frame casement door?
It is the substantial leaf of our casement range: a hinged door with a broader aluminium surround than the slim and medium-narrow lines, on 6063-T5 primary aluminium with five catalogue finishes.
Which finishes are standard?
Five: jazz black, jazz glazed white, fluorocarbon grey, champagne gold and red sandstone. RAL equivalents are confirmed on request.
How does it differ from the 35X16 and 35X48?
Those two draw a slimmer frame. The wide-frame leaf carries more aluminium around the glass, so the door reads as a heavier, more solid panel and the coloured finishes sit as a deliberate feature.
What glass is standard?
A double-glazed insulating glass unit, rated in the catalogue for sound and heat. Plain glass or cross bars and decorative insets fit the same frame.
How does it open?
It is a hinged leaf that turns on its hinges rather than running on a track, so the wall beside the opening stays free. The lever handle and lock set comes in a silver finish.
Can we review a sample before ordering?
Yes. A profile set and a finished test door can be reviewed on request, with lead time confirmed on the enquiry.
