The middle tier of the sliding range: a frame drawn thicker than the 35X16, more glass, eight finishes.

35X48 MEDIUM NARROW SERIES SLIDING DOOR · application scenes

The middle of the sliding range

The 35X48 is the medium-narrow tier of our sliding doors, sitting between the 35X16 minimalism line and the 40 new-minimalism line. The catalogue draws its frame and sash thicker than the 35X16, which keeps the sight-line slim while the profile carries a wider glass field and a quieter line in the room. For projects that find the 35X16 too fine and the heavy 50 line too solid, this is the middle ground.

Everything here comes from the production catalogue: the section drawings, the eight finishes, the hardware set. The dimensional pack and hardware layout are quoted against the opening.

Key features

Four things it brings to the opening

01Thicker frame than the 35X16The catalogue draws the 35X48 frame and sash thicker than the minimalism line, so the sight-line stays slim while the profile carries a wider glass field and reads quieter in the room.
0245-degree mitered cornersEach corner is joined at 45 degrees, which the catalogue cites for a clean face and a solid joint; the line runs smooth from the head rail to the floor.
03Automotive-grade tempered glassEvery sash leaves the factory with automotive-grade tempered glass, adding sound insulation, thermal comfort and safety to the glazed panel.
04Stainless-steel railThe rail is stainless steel: wear- and corrosion-resistant, strong on load, and the sash stays on its line through repeated cycles instead of working loose.

Profile & engineering

The frame is 6063-T5 primary aluminium, the same grade as the window and door lines, chosen for hardness, strength and crack resistance. Corners meet at 45 degrees, the join the catalogue cites for a clean face and a solid joint.

The section drawings show the two-sash and three-sash groups under the wall head, with the track and rollers at the foot of each sash. The rail is stainless steel, which the catalogue calls out for wear and corrosion resistance and strong load capacity, so the sash stays on its line instead of working loose. Automotive-grade tempered glass is standard in every sash, adding sound insulation, thermal comfort and safety. The catalogue also lists grille bars and decorative inlays for the glass, so one frame can go plain or patterned.

Configurations

Two-panel is the everyday layout for interior and patio openings. Four-panel with a fixed head light suits wide living-room and bedroom fronts: the transom runs continuous above the moving sashes, as in the hero scene. The wide assembly in the third section drawing covers larger openings across a wall. The catalogue hardware set carries the silver handle, the track section and the roller assembly. Panel widths and glass build-up are quoted against the opening dimensions.

Finishes

Eight catalogue finishes are standard on the 35X48: jazz black, jazz glazed white, porcelain silver grey, Brazilian pear wood, fluorocarbon grey, fluorocarbon metal coffee, champagne gold and tech wood. The wood-grain and metallic options give the series a broader palette than the other sliding lines. RAL equivalents and two-tone combinations are confirmed against physical swatches on request.

FAQ

Asked on every 35X48 series project

What is the 35X48 medium-narrow sliding door?

It is the middle tier of our sliding range: a horizontal slide on 6063-T5 primary aluminium, with a frame drawn thicker than the 35X16 minimalism line, a stainless-steel rail and eight catalogue finishes.

How does it compare with the 35X16 and the 40?

The 35X16 is the thinnest sight-line; the 40 adds the tri-synchronous three-sash layout. The 35X48 sits between them with a thicker frame, more finishes and grille or decorative inlays in the same frame.

What glass is standard?

Automotive-grade tempered glass is standard in every sash, with sound insulation and thermal benefit. Grille bars and decorative inlays are catalogue options for the same frame.

Which finishes are standard?

Eight: jazz black, jazz glazed white, porcelain silver grey, Brazilian pear wood, fluorocarbon grey, fluorocarbon metal coffee, champagne gold and tech wood. RAL equivalents are confirmed on request.

What layouts can it do?

Two-panel, four-panel with a fixed head light, and the wide assembly shown in the section drawings. Exact sizes are quoted against the opening.

Can we sample it before ordering?

Yes. A profile set and a finished test door are available on request, with lead time confirmed on the enquiry.
