The hinged interior door is the swing-leaf line of the aluminium interior range. It is built on the 106, 120 and 126 aluminium systems that already carry the Adam Alux frame programme, so the leaf, the frame and the hardware come from the extrusion family the rest of the project runs on. Doorways in bathrooms, kitchens, dining rooms, bedrooms and laundry rooms are all covered by the line, and the leaf is specified against the opening the same way as an exterior door.

Why an aluminium leaf indoors
An aluminium frame holds its line in a damp room. In a bathroom or a laundry room the leaf does not take on moisture the way a timber leaf can, and the surface does not need repainting after a wet season. The profile is 6063-T5 primary aluminium, extruded in-house, which gives the thin frame its stiffness and keeps a tall leaf straight across the opening.\n\nThe glazed panel is set with the same gasket and bead detail used on the exterior door range, so a pane can be swapped later without a special order, and the hinge, lock and stop are matched to the leaf weight quoted for the project.
Finishes across the lineup
Per the catalogue lineup table, the interior range covers around 24 frame and finish combinations. For the hinged leaf the choices group the same way as the sliding line: black, wood-grain, light (off-white), red and white frames. One finish can be carried across a whole floor, or the hinged leaf can take a different frame colour from the sliding leaf beside it while the section itself stays unchanged.
Matching a hinged leaf to a room
A hinged leaf needs swing clearance, so it is placed where the floor in front of the opening stays clear. In a bedroom or a dining room that is usually the wall behind the door; in a laundry or bathroom the leaf opens back against a short return. Leaf width, height and the opening direction are quoted against the actual opening, and the same frame schedule covers single and paired openings on one wall.\n\nWhere the wall run is long enough, a paired leaf carries a wider opening and still uses one frame schedule; where the return is short, a single leaf keeps the plan tight. The finish for each leaf is set from the catalogue lineup table, so a bedroom leaf and a bathroom leaf on the same floor can share one frame colour.

A profile set and a finished test leaf are available as samples before commit.
