Engineering

Narrower frame, wider glassThe door frame and sash are drawn narrower than the previous sliding lines, so each light carries more glass and less aluminium, and the sight-line thins.

6063-T5 primary aluminiumToughness, strength and crack resistance come from the 6063-T5 primary aluminium the range is extruded in, on the same line as the window series.

45° mitered cornersCorners are joined at 45 degrees, which keeps the outer face clean and the frame line straight across the full opening.

Tempered glass standardAutomotive-grade tempered glass is fitted as standard, adding sound insulation, thermal comfort and safety to the glazed sash.

Specifying for heat and value

African projects are usually specified against two drivers: heat, and the total landed cost of the glazing line. Single-glass build-ups cut weight and freight in the container; insulating units step in where comfort or acoustics are required. Both run on the same frame, so the build-up is a line on the quotation, not a different product.

Wall thickness and finish are the second lever. The 6063-T5 sections in the range are extruded in-house, and the anodised and thermal-transfer finish lines are the standard shortlist.

Full-container loading

The container is the unit of supply: a full box of modules for one phase, packed upright with edge protection, with the loading plan drawn against your opening schedule.

Transit to the port of discharge, and the documentation for clearing, travel with the shipment. Transit times are confirmed per route at quotation.

FAQ

Frequently asked

Do you ship to West and East Africa?

Yes. Full-container loading is the standard supply unit, and the loading plan for your opening schedule comes with the quotation.

Can we mix single and insulating glass in one container?

Yes. The glazing build-up is specified per opening on the schedule, so one container can carry both configurations; the mix is confirmed in the loading plan.

How heavy is the 50 series sash, and how wide can panels go?

Sash weight and maximum panel width are quoted against the opening and glazing configuration; the dimensional pack for your exact layout is supplied with the quotation.

What glass is standard on the 50 series?

Automotive-grade tempered glass is standard, with sound insulation and thermal benefits. Insulating glass build-ups are quoted per project.
